Talking About Pumpkin Pie
It is the night before Thanksgiving and all through the house, wait, that’s not right. As a preview to Thanksgiving, I reviewed a store bought pumpkin pie at my Grandparents’ house in Florida. And yes, the coffee was decaf.

This is the second show we put together from our co-hosting spot on the Freezerburns 24-Hour MovemberThon to support MOvember, which raises awareness for men’s health issues. Even though it was 4 in morning, Greg, the Frozen Food Master, let me ask him some questions about video food blogging. This show is pretty long, but Greg gave me some good ideas.

Ok, let me tell you that this was recorded live at 4:00 in the morning. Seriously. My dad grows a mustache, which I don’t like, every November to support MOvember, which raises awareness for men’s health issues. His friend Greg, the Frozen Food Master, hosted a Freezerburns 24-hour show, which was shown live on the internet, and my dad and I co-hosted one hour. We set up our own camera to record it for my show, and Greg and I reviewed Boston Market Salisbury Steak and Mac N Cheese. During our hour, I also asked Greg some questions, and I will post that as a separate episode soon. We also went back with other co-hosts to celebrate the final hour of the show.

My dad took my friend, Emma, and me to the North Carolina State Fair last weekend. We had a blast going on rides, playing games and eating lots of food. This episode is a little different because I talked about a lot of different foods I ate and we mashed them all together. I also ate some other things that I didn’t talk about. Hmm, after watching me eat all that food, I’m getting hungry.
My dad and I made a pumpkin cake recipe from the culinary school at Baltimore International College. I was asked to make a recipe from their site and review it. It’s my first guest post, even though it’s on my own site. And I have to tell you they sent us money for the ingredients we bought to thank us for making the recipe and reviewing it. I’m glad my dad gave me the money they sent since I did all the work.
My dad and I went camping and we made s’mores. Everything is better when you cook it outside. This episode features shout-outs to a friend from my dad’s office, Sarah, and a podcast my dad listens to, The Sporkful.
I visited S’mac, an all mac n cheese restaurant while on vacation in New York and tried the Cheeseburger mac n cheese.
I ate a Dunkin Donut and tried to compare it to my review of a Krispy Kreme donut. It was too hard to compare.
My dad and I went to the Durham Food Truck Round-up and I got a Pomegranate Tangerine Locopop.
For my brother’s birthday, we went to Bonefish Grill where I ordered the fried calamari, like I always do. I love the squid parts with the legs. I also ordered grilled salmon, which was fresh and delicious.
